Jax Creators is a welcoming community for local creators of all kinds ( livestreamers, podcasters, artists, content creators, musicians, bloggers, etc) , that facilitates skill growth, relationships, and creation!
Once a month, an in-person meetup is produced to encourage face to face interactions.
Members are then highlighted and encouraged to interact with one another online, to continue relationships and foster further creativity and growth.
Jax Creators started in March of 2023, as a series of meetups creating a welcoming and inclusive community for creators of all kinds. Whether a content creator, illustrator, dancer, makeup artist, podcaster, livestreamer… all were welcome!
GAAM was founded on artists. But as we grew, we saw that the term didn’t really capture the evolution of artists, it held onto a traditional definition. As we put together each event, we saw the creativity coming from so many different directions. Livestreams, podcasts, 3d printing…, storytelling and expression was developing on new and different mediums, and we wanted to support those efforts, just as we had with traditional arts.
We also wanted to re-create some of the magic we experienced every time we came together to create something for the bigger events. Skills rapidly improved and true friendships blossomed (sometimes even love!), whenever we all got together.
We believe that having this community will ultimately lift the creator community in Jacksonville, and look forward to the relationships, innovation, and evolution that will come from it.
– To raise enough funding to keep creating these free meetups; pay for supplies, giveaways and compensate the volunteers involved
Computers, software, table top signs, printing, photographers, videographers, prizes for competitions, banners, event marketing, and feeding the volunteers who sacrifice their time (and frequently, their own goods) to make these events happen.
Venue costs, speaker fees, AV equipment, also exist for some of the bigger events.
– Creating an inclusive, supportive, and educational environment for creators of all ages and skill levels.
We also periodically lead creators into charitable activities, such as toy drives, and focus on supporting multiple local/small businesses.

– The core activity is mixing and socializing with other creators. We also put together raffles, ice breakers, interviews, content creation sessions, and livestreams with attendees at various events.
